I have worked within a range of therapeutic settings and am always stiving to improve the support and care in our home. I have completed my Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare along with the Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management. I will soon embark on completing my Level 7 course in Strategic Management and Leadership. In my spare time I like to spend time with my young family and socialise with friends, along with playing and watching various sports, mainly football. I also think I’m a good cook, others may disagree!

Lucy

Deputy Manager

Hi, my name is Lucy, I am the Deputy Manager of Lotus House children’s home. I started my career In the mental health sector after finishing my degree in Psychology, before working as a social worker in the community. About 8 years ago I decided to take a job in a residential children’s home and have stayed in this field ever since. I have completed my Level 3 diploma in Residential Childcare along with the Diploma level 5 in Leadership and Management and now love my position as house manager of our home. I love the fact that no two days are the same and I am always learning something knew from our young people. My daughter is nearly grown up and I enjoy spending time with her especially when that involves going to see live music. I am a keen sailor and can be found most summer days bobbing around on my sailing cruiser in the Solent.
