Sportfit is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Children and Young People and all candidates must be willing to undergo the appropriate employment pre-employment checks, including DBS and references. 

All successful candidates will be invited to attend an interview, complete an application form detailing full employment history starting with when you left full time education, we will ask for employment references covering the last 5 years of employment, proof of right to work in the UK and to complete an appropriate DBS check.

Available roles

Eastleigh (12 hrs per week) Monday to Friday – 3.00pm & 5.00pm,  Saturday flexible 2 hrs support

Eastleigh (6 hours per week term time) Tuesday & Thursday 4.00pm to 7.00pm

Lymington (14 hrs per week) Monday to Friday – 6.30am to 7.30am & 5.00pm to 6.00pm, Saturday & Sunday – 10.00am to 11.00 am & 5.00 to 6.00pm (We are happy to consider a job share arrangement)

South Wonston (12.5 hrs per week ) Monday – Friday: 7am – 8am & 3.30pm – 5pm  

New Forest  (3 hrs per week) Wednesday 3.15pm to 6.15.pm

Totton (8 hrs per week) Monday & Tuesday 3.00pm to 5.00pm Sunday: 2.00pm to 6.00pm

Working out in the community, Support Workers give care and support to our young people and their families. Job specification requires people who are honest, reliable and caring, have good organisational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, are committed to our training programme, have good inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate with young people, their parents/carers and social workers/other professionals and their own team members.

Sportfit can offer the above positions at very competitive rates of pay.

Applicants preferably have some previous experience in the care field and hold relevant qualifications (Diploma or equivalent) for the position applied for. However, all applicants will be considered as full in-house training will be provided.

An Enhanced Disclosure (DBS) will be required, commitment, flexibility and a full driving licence are essential.

Situated in Southampton, Weymouth, Bournemouth, IOW

Job specification requires people who are honest, reliable and caring, have good organisational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, are committed to our training programme, have good inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate with young people, their parents/carers and social workers/other professionals and their own team members.

Sportfit can offer the above positions at very competitive rates of pay for a 45 hour week (plus sleep ins)

Applicants preferably have some previous experience in the care field and hold relevant qualifications (Diploma or equivalent) for the position applied for. However, all applicants will be considered as full in-house training will be provided.

An Enhanced Disclosure (DBS) will be required, commitment, flexibility and a full driving licence are essential.

The service will provide supported housing scheme offering quality accommodation to young people that present challenging behaviours without a secure home in order to learn the skills to assist them to move to independent living

Job specification requires people who are honest, reliable and caring, have good organisational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, are committed to our training programme, have good inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate with young people, their parents/carers and social workers/other professionals and their own team members.
