Personal and Social Development

These qualifications are tailored to those really
reluctant/disengaged young people and/or those that really need to build
self-esteem and life skills. These qualifications prompt independent living
skills and community involvement, around their own needs, wants and desires.

These qualifications are very practical and hands on based qualifications where the emphasis is on completing practical tasks and reviewing.

Award in E-Safety (Level 1)

Learners need to achieve a minimum of 3 credits to achieve the Award

E-Safety. This unit includes:

  • Define and understand the importance of E-Safety.
  • Know about communicating using technology.
  • Know how to keep safe when communicating on-line.
  • Know about online behaviours (positive and negative)
  • Know about legislation and regulations relating to online communication.
  • Know about content descriptors and symbols for video games and mobile applications.
